5 STRUMS TO GO FROM BEGINNER TO INTERMEDIATE PLAYER
In this video I'm sharing my strumming secrets with you! I'll teach you have to play the five strumming patterns that I use most often.
I think strumming patterns can be a bit of a mystery for people (they certainly were for me when I started playing the uke). It can be hard to know where to start or if you're doing it right. You might even feel like the strumming patterns you already know are boring and overused.
So here are my five solid strums that will help you sound less like a beginner player and more like an intermediate player!
1. D du udu
2. D Cu ucu
3. Du C (R) C
4. dd Ddu dd Ddu
5. D DU ud Ddu
2. D Cu ucu
3. Du C (R) C
4. dd Ddu dd Ddu
5. D DU ud Ddu
Watch the video to learn how to play each one:
I hope you find this helpful and that it makes you feel like a more confident strummer! If you'd like to learn more, you can use the strumming guide and practice playalong video as one of my patrons here.
Happy playing and see you again soon in another video!
