LOVE STORY - TAYLOR SWIFT (UKULELE TUTORIAL)

 

In this video you'll learn how to play "Love Story" by Taylor Swift on the ukulele! This song was the most requested in the poll that I put up on my YouTube community tab, so here you go! :)

Chords

In this version we use the chords C F Am G D A and Bm. These are all basic chords, except for Bm, which is a barre chord. I think this is the easiest barre chord to get familiar with, so if it's your first one, it's a good one to start with! The Bm chord appears only during the final chorus a couple of times, so this song is a nice introduction to barre chords in that way too.

Strumming Patterns We use a few different strumming patterns, including D du udu, Dddddddd, Dddd D M, and single downstrums. We will stick to using the D du udu strumming pattern for most of the song.
